As a portrait photographer and mother, I fully appreciate the importance of creating lasting memories. My aim is to capture moments of your family life which once framed, you can cherish forever.
Portrait session
Your portrait session can take place in my studio, at your home or at a location to which you feel especially connected. No matter where they take place, I like to take plenty of time during my sessions as most children need to relax and embrace the process before one can get a picture that truly expresses their individuality.
What to expect
Post shoot we will arrange a convenient time for you to view a slide show of your session where you can select your favourite images and discuss the best size, format and framing options.
Traditional wedding photography focuses exclusively on the ceremony and reception. I feel that this approach fails to chronicle many of the exciting phases and events of the occasion- the all-to-often forgotten moments in which the emotion and exhilaration of the day are revealed. With this tenet in mind, I like to discreetly chart the hustle and bustle of both the bride and groom as they prepare for the ceremony. This way your wedding album becomes a narrative relating the extraordinary emotional progress of an extraordinary day.
Before the wedding
If you would like to engage me to photograph your wedding you will
first need to furnish me with the date so I ascertain my availability. The next step would be a personal meeting to discuss your wedding and decide exactly what you want from your photographs. We will go through every detail together so on your wedding day you can relax and know that nothing and nobody will be left out of your album.
After the wedding
Once I have edited and digitally enhanced your selected images I will upload them to an online gallery which you will be able to access with a password. In most cases you will be able to see them while you are still on your honeymoon.
Once you are back home we will meet and you can select your favourite images and choose how you would like them to be presented.
