Just before half term St Mary of the Angels Primary School staged their annual ‘Book Character Day’. The variety of costumes was impressive, encompassing characters of differing literary credentials and complexity of costume. Samuel Pepys shared the catwalk with the Gruffalo while Dr Seuss’s Things One and Two battled it out with the more predictable Mad Hatters and Disney Princesses. Even the staff joined in- Year 1 and 2 teachers comprising most of the Seven Dwarfs until the school bell rang, announcing that Heigh-ho, it was off to schoolwork to go.
For parents who would like to see or purchase photographs of their children from the day, there will be leaflets handed out at School. All proceeds raised will go to charity.
